We would like to map ALL the trials in the water tower area. There are a lot of trails, some of which are not "official".

Please use the proper tags for trails (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:highway%3Dpath). Things to include:

  • Trails use
  • Informal
  • Access
  • Surface
  • mtb:scale
  • trail_visibility
  • smoothness

Project Specific Mapping Notes

Use Bing imagery where you can, but also check Mapbox if Bing is cloudy

Trails Please!

Please accurately digitize all trails you can find.

In the iD web editor, the first time you map a trail you will use the "Path" category and then at the bottom of the list add all appropriate tags.

If you have personal knowledge of a trail, please add that information to the trail, like the name or access of trail.
